Macrokinetics of degradation reactions taking place during etching irradiated polyethyleneterephthalate films in aqueous alkaline solutions

A study was made of macrokinetics of degradation of oligomer and polymer molecules in the track zone formed during irradiation of polyethyleneterephthalate films. A ration was derived to calculate polymer weight variation according to time, temperature and thermodynamic parameters of the medium.
