Description
Summary:The dependence of the shape of decay of free induction in linear and crosslinked polyurethanes on their composition and structure, and on the temperature of the samples, is revealed. A method is proposed for the analysis of decay of free induction, yielding quantitative information, for cases where we have nonexponential one- or two-component decay with spin-spin relaxation times T 2 differing by less than twofold for each component. T 2 values has been calculated, as well as the correlation times and activation energies of molecular motion. The activation energy largely depends on the oligomeric portion of the chains.
