Summary:A study was made of kinetic regularities of graft polymerization of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate on polycaproamide in the presence of an initiating system (phthalocyanine complex of copper-cumene hydroperoxide-ascrobic acid). The process is accompanied by homopolymerization of the monomer. Views were formulated about the reaction mechanism and causes of differences in kinetic parameters of graft polymerization and homopolymerization are described.
