Summary:A description was given of methodical problems of deriving a calibration equation of solubility and using the Rayer method for determining MWD from the precipitation curve using precipitating spectroturbidimetric titration of polymer solutions. Using anionic poly-α-methylstyrene it was shown that moments of distribution calculated from MWD are within the range of error of independent determinations.
