Summary: | Attenuated total internal reflexion IR has been employed to study the partial solubilities of the components of the mixture of acetone-methanol-chloroform in PE. The results are described with the aid of the complete cubic model of the simplex lattice method. The solubility of chloroform in the polymer is determined practically only by its content in the initial liquid mixture. The sorption capacity of acetone and methanol is closely associated with the chloroform content of the liquid mixture. |
