Description
Summary:Methods of measuring the crystallinity of PP fibres using X-ray diffraction curves and computerized calculations are described. The methods proposed are based on the Hermans-Weidinger procedure using a standard curve of scattering by amorphous PP. Conditions for selecting ranges and points of approximation of the standard curve of scattering to the experimental curve of scattering by a partially crystalline sample were determined. A standardized algorithm was developed for this approximation and for calculating crystallinity.
