Summary: | A three-parameter equation of cross correlation was derived as a result of studying kinetics of interaction of aromatic amines substituted in the nucleus with aromatic carboxylic acid chlorides in DMAA at 0 to 25°C, which enables rate constants of polycondensation of
m-phenylenediamine with isophthalic acid dichloride to be calculated. These constants were used to calculate curves of concentration variation of monomers and oligomers during polycondensation. It was shown that a temperature increase results in a relative increase in the content of one of the monomers-isophthalic acid dichloride in the reaction mixture, which is the cause of increased polydispersion of the polymer formed. Satisfactory agreement was found between calculated and experimental results. |
