Summary: | The influence of the morphological structure of PVC and of its compositions with elastomers on the work of fracturing has been studied over a wide range of loading rates with stretching. The relation of the specific surface of the initial polymer powder to the nature of rate dependence of the work of fracturing has been demonstrated. Some possibilities of enhancing the impact strength of PVC materials by increasing the degree of heterogeneity of their structure have been established. |
