Summary: | For calculating the characteristics of branched chain polymers which depend on conformation, a new approach based on the use of density correlation functions of particular molecular units has been developed. A method of analytical calculation of this function for products of ideally equilibrated homopolycondensation is given which generalizes the known statistical method, based on the theory of branching stochastic processes. The results of calculating the mean square inertial radius and the Stokes hydrodynamic radius are given, permitting one to evaluate the effect on these characteristics of cyclization of branched polymers. |
