Method for studying alignment of macromolecules in longitudinal hydrodynamic field

It has been shown by experiments with polystyrene containing chemically bonded luminiscent groups that in the region where flow birefringence is measured in the study of alignment of macromolecules by the Frank-Keller method the local concentration is the same as the mean solution concentration.
