Summary:A technique of constructing phase diagrams for instances of identical and different interactions of solvent with polymers is described. It is shown that both closed and open phase diagrams may be obtained with parallel and non-parallel nodes. The construction of the phase diagrams in the last case is complicated by the unevenness of the phase distribution of the solvent and polymeric components. To describe this effect the paper proposes relations obtained by joint solution of the main equations of thermodynamics and the equation of mass balance.
