Summary: | In the cellulose-nitrogen oxide (IV) system, depending on the interaction conditions, the formation of unstable crystalline compounds of different nature is observed: an adduct of cellulose with HNO
3 (Knecht compound) or its nitric triester. The laws of formation of crystalline phases of these compounds as a result of topochemical reaction and self-organization are considered. The difference in nature of the unstable compounds formed predetermines the possibility of regenerating individual celluloses having different structural forms from the system under the action of water. |
