The effect of concentration on the cathodic electrodeposition process

Summary: | The effect of resin concentration on the final film thickness and on the rate constant during the cathodic electrodeposition of a polymer has been investigated using a constant voltage method. It was found that the film thickness and the rate constant increased linearly with resin concentration, supporting the assumption that the chemical reaction occurring during organic film deposition is pseudo-first order. |
