Summary: | An analytic expression for the ground state energy of a Wannier exciton interacting with the optical phonon field in a polar crystal, is derived using a perturbation approach. A good agreement is found between the theoretically calculated and experimentally determined values of the ground state energy in various polar crystals.
Au moyen d'une méthode de perturbation, on établit une expression pour l'énergie de l'état fondamental d'un exciton de Wannier en interaction avec le champ de phonons optiques dans un cristal polaire. On obtient un accord excellent entre les valeurs ainsi calculées et les valeurs déterminées expérimentalement pour l'énergie de l'état fondamental dans une série de cristaux polaires. |
