Measurements in a pure compound exhibiting an enantiotropic reentrant nematic behavior at atmospheric pressure

Magnetic measurements confirm the “reetrant” nematic behavior at atmospheric pressure of the 4 - octyloxybenzoyloxy-4'-cyanostilbene. Some consequences of this I-N-S A-N-S AK new enantiotropic polymorphism on twist viscosity and orientational order are investigated.
