Summary:Reflectivity measurements in fundamental absorption range (3.6–13 eV) have been made on Sn(Se 1- x S x ) 2 mixed compounds for several compositions ( x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.0). The composition dependence of the energy location of the reflectivity structures is found to be non-linear and different according to the electronic transitions involved. This behaviour is discussed in terms of electronic structure evolution related to the anion substitution.
