Pairing correlations and susceptibilities of the one-dimensional Hubbard model

Description
Summary:Using a quantum Monte-Carlo method, we calculate the pairing correlation functions and pairing susceptibilities of the one-dimensional Hubbard model for half-filling as well as less than half-filling. The dependence of these quantities on system size and Coulomb repulsion is discussed. Spin and charge susceptibilities are also discussed. As in two dimensions [20] we also find in one dimension an enhancement of the extended singlet pairing correlation function (for q = 0) at U t ≈ 3 . All q = 0 pairing susceptibilities are, however, suppressed with increasing U.
