Summary:Model numerical calculations of the enhancement factor of field emission from surfaces, containing ordered and disordered monolayers of adatoms, were carried out using some typical values for the parameters. It was shown that perculiarities of the field emission energy distribution may be used for experimental studies of (“order-disorder” type) phase transitions in monolayers of adsorbates by the method of field emission spectroscopy.
