Landau gap in a two-dimensional hole gas

Susceptibility and magnetoresistivity studies of a stage 2 Br 2-intercalated graphite show clear evidence that this is a field-induced two-dimensional hole gas. The sharp spikes in the susceptibility are a signature of energy gaps between successive Landau levels.
