Measurement of Cp of some lubricating oils with a differential scanning calorimeter

The specific heat at constant pressure ( C p) of various lubricating oils was determined at different temperatures using differential scanning calorimetric techniques. The values obtained correlated well with those calculated from empirical expressions.
