Tikhonov's “Regularization Method” for weak solutions of boundary value problems
TIKHONOV [1] has proposed a method for the approximate solution of degenerate systems of linear algebraic equations. This paper contains a generalization of this method to the infinite-dimensional case and an application to the approximate solution of Dirichlet's problem for the wave equation.
