The problem of an intense explosion in a rarefied gas
THE PROBLEM of the one-dimensional motion of a rarefield gas, caused by an intense plane explosion, is considered. The purely mechanical motion of a monatomic gas within the limits of the kinetic theory is studied. A system of model equations is constructed for the numerical investigation. The chara...

Summary: | THE PROBLEM of the one-dimensional motion of a rarefield gas, caused by an intense plane explosion, is considered. The purely mechanical motion of a monatomic gas within the limits of the kinetic theory is studied. A system of model equations is constructed for the numerical investigation. The characteristic kinetic phenomena and the beginning of the emergence of the process into gas-dynamic stage are investigated. |
