Free oscillations of an electromagnetic field in one-dimensional periodic gratings

The main problems in the theory of quasistationary free oscillations of an electromagnetic field are considered. The construction of this theory is necessary to study the scattering (non-stationary diffraction) of waves by one-dimensionally periodic gratings.
