Description
Summary:The boundary—domain integral formulation is applied to a numerical simulation of one—dimensional unsteady diffusion—convection mass transport with a reaction in the separation columns. Numerical results show that the BDIF does not present oscillation or damping of the wave front as appears in other numerical techniques and can be applied to solve more complicated examples.
