Summary: | The concept of the equivalence of electrical networks is presented. The equivalence of networks with regard to their trees or cotrees is defined and discussed. The mathematical approach to the equivalence problem is formulated using the theory of the generalized inverse. The conditions of equivalence are derived and the method of determining the set of equivalent networks is given. Examples illustrating the equivalent transfiguration of a network are shown. |
