Controlled release glasses (C.R.G.) for biomedical uses

The biocompatibility of a range of calcium phosphate C.R.G.s is considered using cytotoxicity techniques and animal implant studies. Histology shows the material to be biologically non-cytotoxic in tissue culture and to give limited in vivo reaction thus encouraging further studies.
