Description
Summary:A low-resolution vision sensor is introduced. This has a picturesize of 30 × 30 pixels and is of low-cost. The sensing element is based upon a 1024-bit shift register. Constructional details are given and the electronics required to drive the camera is described. The unit has been designed to interface to an 8-bit microcomputer, and some typical images obtained in practice are presented.
