A coprocessor for implementing the LISP-dialect scheme

A Scheme-specific (Scheme is a LISP-dialect) coprocessor is presented. It has been designed for practical purposes and under design constraints imposed by design tools available. This article describes, in the sequence, the design constraints, the behavior of the coprocessor, the chip architecture,...

Description
Summary:A Scheme-specific (Scheme is a LISP-dialect) coprocessor is presented. It has been designed for practical purposes and under design constraints imposed by design tools available. This article describes, in the sequence, the design constraints, the behavior of the coprocessor, the chip architecture, and the practical design stages. The first version of our chip can be used with 68000 computers.
