Description
Summary:Integrated chromatographic sample preconcentration was introduced in the early seventies. Since then on-line enrichment of dilute solutions by this technique has become common practice in many analytical laboratories. It has proved to be a straightforward alternative to off-line sample work-up procedures. Although cylindrical precolumns may be appropriate for moderate sample volumes containing small quantities of solutes, we propose the use of conically shaped precolumns which have a larger capacity.
