Dielectric and calorimetric behaviour of liquids systems containing halogenotoluenes

A study of the dielectric relaxation of the monohalogenotoluenes was carried out by measuring their dielectric constants at 2 MHz and complex dielectric permittivities at 9.23 and 15.05 GHz, in the range 293.15 – 323.15 K. The activation energies of the relaxation process, were obtained from Eyring...

Description
Summary:A study of the dielectric relaxation of the monohalogenotoluenes was carried out by measuring their dielectric constants at 2 MHz and complex dielectric permittivities at 9.23 and 15.05 GHz, in the range 293.15 – 323.15 K. The activation energies of the relaxation process, were obtained from Eyring and Bauer models at 303.15 K. On the other hand, the excess molar enthalpies of the equimolecular binary halogenotoluene + benzene mixtures, H E x=0.5, were determined and correlated with the activation energies of the pure polar components.
