Inferring structural changes of hydroxylic solvents from NMR data
Chemical shift data of hydroxyl nuclei can provide information on structural changes in the hydrogen bonded network of a hydroxylic solvent. This is accomplished by calculating a factor related to an apparent number of H-bonds broken, in case of temperature variations or solute additions.
