Summary: | The process of light collection in a scintillation counter with a diffuse reflector is studied using the Monte-Carlo codes “PHOTON” and “LIGHT”. The results obtained are compared with the simple model estimations and employed to describe the time shape of the signal for several different detectors including the full absorption neutron spectrometer, and reanalyze the previous NE-213 transparency measurements. |
