High-resolution electron holography of non-periodic structures at the example of a Σ = 13 grain boundary in gold

High-resolution electron holography is applied to a grain boundary in a gold crystal to study the phenomena observable in the reconstructed wave with some techniques of wave optical reconstruction. The experimental results are compared with simulated ones.
