Magnetic critical point behaviour of magnetite and related ferrite spinels

An analysis of the magnetic equations of state of magnetite and certain of its solid solutions with zinc ferrite and nickel ferrite indicates that the delayed response of electrical resistivity to the onset of spontaneous spin order is associated with anomalous magnetic critical behaviour.
