Summary:Experimental results testifying to the magnetic heterogeneity effects in ferromagnetic solid solutions Eu 1- x R x O (R= Sm, Gd) and EuO 1-σ films are discussed. A two-sublattice model of a collinear ferrimagnet with a potential well with two minima for the 5d 1-electron is proposed. This electron provides the exchange interactions between the neighbouring ions of europium, as well as between impurity states.
