Description
Summary:Reciprocity theorems of Chandrasekhar and Case are generalized to cases when neutrons are in thermal interaction with a medium of uniform temperature. Application of these theorems to Milne's problem leads to certain relations for the function describing the angular and velocity distribution of the emerging neutrons. This function is further used to express the transmissivity of a thick non-absorbing slab.
