The d + D reactions at deuteron energies below 1 MeV

The d + D reactions at low energies are reconsidered taking into account the two-deuteron quintet state, waves of higher orbital angular momentum and differences between proton and neutron emission. Comparison is made with recent experiments involving polarized deuteron beams.
