Polarization in deuteron-deuteron elastic scattering between 8 and 12 MeV

The vector polarization in d-d elastic scattering has been measured at 8, 10 and 12 MeV. The measured polarization is less than 3%. This is surprising since orbital angular momenta l > 0 contribute strongly to the cross section.
