Negative-parity states in 152Gd and a quadrupole-octupole coupling model
Odd-spin negative-parity states to spin 17 have been identified in 152Gd from in-beam spectra of (α, xn) reactions. The level scheme is well accounted for by a simple model coupling an octupole vibration to the transitional core.
