A new method for calculating rotational spectra for complex nuclei

A new method has been devised for calculating the rotational spectra of complex nuclei which is much simpler than methods using projection techniques but which gives results comparable to them. The method is a modified version of the constrained Hartree-Fock-Skyrme technique.
