Maximum tensor analysing power Ayy = 1 in nuclear reactions
A maximum tensor analysing power A yy = 1 in the 3He(d, p) 4He reaction found experimentally at 9.28 MeV and θ lab = 23.6° is reported. The conditions for such maxima are discussed for nuclear reactions induced by polaruzed deuterons on targets with spin 0, 1 2 and 1.
