Model-independent information on α + d clustering in 6Li
We determine the 6Li- α-d coupling constant by applying a dispersion relation to the empirical d- α forward scattering amplitude. From this we obtain a model-independent value C 2 = 4.64 ± 0.25 for the normalization of the asymptotic α + d cluster wave-function of 6Li.
