Description
Summary:Effects of gravitation on the decay of a metastable state in the early universe are investigated. It is found that the decay is not possible under certain conditions which involve the parameters of a field theory and the sign of the curvature of a cosmological model. The corresponding constraints are the most essential in the case of (locally) supersymmetric models. A relation is found between the amount of inflation and the temperature after reheating.
