Description
Summary:A technique for the emission spectrographic determination of strontium in natural silicate materials is described. The effects of a varying matrix have been diminished by the addition of strontium-free calcium carbonate. The technique, applicable to all silicate materials, gives a precision of the order of 7–12% standard deviation. Comparison analyses with the stable isotope dilution method indicate a high degree of accuracy as well
