Low temperature specific heat of some TCNQ compounds

Low temperature specific heat measurements on a series of TCNQ compounds are reported. Ionic binding is shown to be of primary importance. In the highly conducting (NMP) +(TCNQ) − and Q +(TCNQ) 2 − salts, an extra contribution to crystal binding is observed.
