Transport entropy and tunneling between vortices in type I superconductors

The effect of tunneling between vortices on the vortex transport entropy in a type I superconductor is calculated and compared with experiment. Agreement is satisfactory in Sn + 0.05 at .% In, and in a 7500A Pb film.
