Measurement of neon 3.39 μm transition decay rates using laser Faraday rotation
A HeNe laser dispersion technique has been used to determine pressure dependence of the related neon level and dipole moment decay rates. Extrapolations to the zero-pressure limit have been made, and 3s 2, 3p 2, 3p 4 level lifetimes are given.
