Scattering of electrons from He + targets for energies up to the n = 3 threshold

Using an algebraic close coupling expansion which includes nine target eigenstates, the excitation cross sections as well as resonance parameters are computed for 0 ⩽ L ⩽ 2 and incident energies between the n = 2 and n = 3 thresholds of the He + ion. These eigenstates are made up of the real 1s, 2s,...

Description
Summary:Using an algebraic close coupling expansion which includes nine target eigenstates, the excitation cross sections as well as resonance parameters are computed for 0 ⩽ L ⩽ 2 and incident energies between the n = 2 and n = 3 thresholds of the He + ion. These eigenstates are made up of the real 1s, 2s, 3s, 2p, 3p, 3d states plus two s-type and one p-type pseudo states that simulate the continuum.
