Surface tension of helium II and the order parameter extrapolation length
Recent experimental results on the temperature dependence of the surface tension of liquid 4He near and below the γ-point are discussed. It is shown that these results can be used for determination of the extrapolation length l, entering the boundary condition ldΨ dz =Ψ for the superfluid order para...

Summary: | Recent experimental results on the temperature dependence of the surface tension of liquid

l=22±2

l > 5 Å for the interface between liquid and solid helium. |
