Summary: | A modified perturbation theory on the basis of conventional procedures with an iterated decomposition of the hamiltonian is proposed. As is demonstrated in simple applications the convergency is accelerated and the expansion may be efficient even when the perturbation is not small. The expenditure of numerical implementation is comparable to the standard methods and there is only little additional computation effort. |
